Metal and Autumn is a phase of transition and transformation. The air in the Upper Peninsula is cool and crisp. This morning when I went out to start my car, small ice crystals stuck to my window creating beautiful designs. Jack Frost came to visit to remind us that winter is just around the corner. But the beauty that winter brings though doesn’t stop me from grieving the invitation of summer’s warm sunshine. I know that by continuing to move forward and letting go (but not forgetting) the adventures of last summer, I can grow and learn even more.
In the spirit of the season of Metal and of letting go, there will be a few changes at the office. I have welcomed Marc Weinrick of MQT Acupuncture and Bodywork into my office space. Marc is a wonderful acupuncturist who specializes in orthopedic acupuncture. For the time being, we will be sharing one room. For this reason, I will be making a few minor changes to my schedule:
1. Saturday morning appointments will still be available, however you will not be able to schedule these online. If you would like to schedule for Saturday between 9 a.m. and Noon, please contact me directly at 906-458-2565
2. Sliding Scale Rates will still be available, however they will not take place on Friday afternoons. Instead, they can be made anytime during the week. I have limited how many I will offer each week to 4 time slots. You can now schedule these appointments up to 2 weeks out, but can only have one scheduled at a time.
3. Emails regarding scheduling will now come from ‘MQT Acupuncture and Bodywork with Carolyn & Marc.’ This may continue to shift as Marc & I continue to work out the changes to the space and our own individual practices.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, let me know. I am more than willing to talk with you more specifically about these changes as we progress.
